The base vehicle chassis, the VOLVO FMX 6×6, ensures excellent off-road capability thanks to one of the best approach and departure angles, rear overhang, and ground clearance in its class, combined with a low cab that complies with legal height regulations for vehicles. The unique inter-axle and inter-wheel differential locking system enables the vehicle to be used in either 6×4 or 6×6 configuration, depending on the operating conditions and tasks.
Interestingly, when in transport position, the excavator has ultra-low dimensions and can be used in areas with dense urban development. This excavator can be equipped with a telescopic boom and micro-motion capabilities.
