Incredible news about special equipment from the Ukrainian company MPP «Modus» and the well-known Chinese brand SANY, which was supposed to reach a wide audience even before the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, but this amazing news had to be postponed for several months due to known reasons… And now, finally, it is time to tell Ukrainians about the powerful crane equipment already operating in our country!
So, at the beginning of winter, a crane with a lifting capacity of an astonishing 800 (!!!) tons was put into operation in Ukraine. This is the first crawler crane in Ukraine capable of handling such massive loads. The model is designated SANY SCC8000 A, manufactured in China, and was commissioned for the end customer with the support of MPP «Modus», the exclusive supplier of Palfinger Sany cranes in Ukraine.
The powerful giant will operate in southern Ukraine. Its tasks include the installation of wind power plants, directly contributing to Ukraine’s energy independence, which has been, is, and will continue to be one of the country’s most important objectives both in peacetime and during martial law.
In addition to the remarkable lifting capacity of 800 tons, the SANY SCC8000 A crawler crane has truly fantastic technical characteristics, including:
