For several years, the Ukrainian machine-building plant “Modus” has been fruitfully collaborating with the MAN truck chassis supplier, MAN Truck & Bus Ukraine. In Ukraine, dozens of Palfinger Sany SPC truck cranes with various lifting capacities, including 32 and 50 tons, are successfully operating.
However, this collaboration is special because, for the first time, a MAN 6×2 chassis was used for crane construction. Besides the amazingly elegant and striking color combination of the boom, the entire crane unit, and the cab, what did the 32-ton Palfinger Sany SPC320 truck crane receive?
Be sure to notice the cab: like a highway tractor, it has a sleeping berth. Who knows, perhaps this feature will help the crane operator rest a bit after intensive work?
The plant carried out an extensive list of modifications to the base chassis, including cutting the cab.
The plant specialists are impressed and inspired by the result. In their opinion, this is one of the most beautiful cranes built by the “Modus” plant since 2019. As they say, color and design matter!
