Modus client and buyer of Palfinger Sany mobile cranes, the group of road construction companies RDS, is participating in the reconstruction of destroyed bridges in the Kyiv region. Naturally, RDS utilizes Palfinger Sany crane equipment, including the 25-ton mobile crane on a special chassis — Palfinger Sany STC250S.
In the photos — one of these important infrastructure objects on the international M-07 Kyiv–Kovel–Yahodyn highway. This concerns the bridge over the Zdvizh River near Borodyanka. Immediately after de-occupation, understanding the importance of transport connections here, RDS employees started constructing a temporary crossing. Within the shortest time, traffic was restored. After thorough inspections of the destroyed structure, the damaged components were dismantled and removed. Currently, the company is engaged in the major reconstruction of the 102-meter-long bridge. The first span of monolithic slabs has been concreted, and the process of “curing the concrete” after pouring is ongoing.
The persistent work will allow completion of the project and full restoration of traffic across the bridge by the end of 2023.
