The fire tanker AC-60 (6302)-325.1 is designed for rapid delivery to the site of a fire (or emergency situation) of the firefighting crew, firefighting equipment, and fire-technical tools (FTT). This specialized vehicle is used for emergency response and extinguishing fires with water and air-mechanical foam.
The tank was manufactured and mounted in Ukraine on a cab-over full-drive MAZ-6302C5 6×6 chassis with single-slope tires. The project was carried out by Modus LLC:
- the cabin of the base chassis was modified with AC system components.
- an additional frame was installed on the chassis to secure the body, water tank with foam generator, and transmission.
- a rear bumper (so-called rear protective device — RPD) was installed on the chassis.
- passenger capacity in the double-row cabin — 6 + 1.
