At the MPP «Modus» production facility, a client order was completed for the re-equipment of a MAN TGM 26.290 truck chassis with a 6×2 wheel formula.
The following works were performed during the project:
- Manufactured and installed a custom welded-frame flatbed platform with dimensions 7700×600×2500 mm.
- At the client’s request, the removable supports of the flatbed were made from aluminum profiles.
- The platform floor was made of 3 mm thick checkered steel.
- At the rear of the platform, fully hydraulic two-section ramps were installed, designed for a lifting capacity of up to 15 tons. The ramps feature adjustable track width via hydraulic cylinders. The ramp surface is made of 3 mm thick steel, includes Euro-perforation, and is hot-dip galvanized.
- Near the front of the platform, an electric Dragon Winch with a pulling force of more than 6 tons was installed.
- For rapid cargo handling, a crane-manipulator unit of Italian origin, the Fassi F175 A.0.23, was installed behind the driver’s cab (lifting moment 15.39 t·m, boom reach 10.1 m, lifting capacity at minimum reach 7.68 t). Full technical specifications can be found here.
- Additional equipment: two symmetrically located under-bed drawers for transporting technological equipment. The drawers allow transportation of an air compressor, welding machine, or generator. The shelves are mounted on guides, enabling easy sliding of equipment, and are equipped with locks.
