As previously reported earlier, the group of road construction companies RDS is carrying out repair work on the international road M-07 Kyiv—Kovel—Yahodyn. The reconstruction process utilizes the capabilities of the Palfiger Sany STC250 S mobile crane.
So far, RDS employees have completed:
- primary demolition work: dismantling the reinforced concrete monolithic slab, the destroyed support, and existing beams of reinforced concrete spans;
- installation of monolithic reinforced concrete sub-girders on the supports;
- installation of rubber support elements on the supports, etc.
Next, the road construction specialists are ready for major reconstruction, namely:
- installation of bored piles;
- restoration of existing piles;
- installation of metal beams for the spans;
- installation of expansion joints;
- placement of a monolithic reinforced concrete roadway slab.
RDS is focused on the major construction of the bridge, understanding that international highways are always a priority, especially during wartime.
