As previously reported earlier, a new crane model — SPC 180 T — was manufactured specifically for the Ukrainian crane market on the initiative of the Modus plant. The SPC 180 crane has a 4-section boom with a length of 9.7 to 31.2 m, a lifting moment of 58.5 tm, and, as the model name indicates, a lifting capacity of 18 tons.
Under the coordination of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, Kharkiv energy workers from JSC “Kharkivoblenergo” received three of these cranes on DAEWOO MAXIMUS chassis for repair and restoration work.
The base trucks were provided by our partner — LLC “AUTO-REGION”. Technical specifications of the DAEWOO MAXIMUS chassis are as follows:
- Wheel formula 4×2
- Doosan DL06 EURO-5 engine
- Fuel consumption ranging from 17 l/100 km to 24 l/100 km
The equipment was purchased with funds from the Ukrainian Energy Support Fund. The fund was established in spring 2022 on the joint initiative of the Minister of Energy of Ukraine, Herman Halushchenko, and the European Commissioner for Energy, Kadri Simson. Purchases are carried out by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) using the Fund’s resources.
Recall that a similar 18-ton crane on a DAEWOO MAXIMUS chassis is already in use by the Kyiv municipal services.
